Melancholia & Freddie

De dimineaţă m-a adus C. cu picioarele pe pamânt. Au trecut 20 de ani.

Von Trier habar n-are ce îmi evocă filmul lui pe care l-am revăzut de curând… şi cred că prea puţin îi pasă.

În urmă cu 20 de ani – douăzeci – aprindeam o lumânare pentru Freddie Mercury. Nu aveam atunci nici blog, nici computer, citeam cărţi de hârtie şi scriam cu pixul pe hărtie. Ascultam Queen pe casete audio la un casetofon care de cele mai multe ori îmi prindea banda şi mi-o făcea evantai 🙂 Nu discutam pe messenger, Facebook, Twitter, vorbeam faţă în faţă, privindu-ne în ochi, cu oameni adevăraţi. Mulţi dintre ei au plecat. Unii s-au întors, alţii nu au mai ajuns…

Movie Night

Henry’s Crime, un film de la care nu aşteptam nimic, dar care m-a facut să mă simt bine. Am savurat replicile, situatiile şi jocul actorilor. Soundtrack-ul e deosebit, deşi pe alocuri parcă nu cadrează cu acţiunea filmului – Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings şi The Budos Band.

Şi ca să înţelegeţi de ce a trebuit sa mă uit la un film care m-a facut să mă simt bine, o să spun doar atât: Never Let Me Go (Kazuo Ishiguro).

Super film văzut pe HBO: The Half Life of Timofey Berezin, sau PU-239, regizor Scott Z. Burns, filmat in mare parte in Romania, cu mulţi actori romani, dar nu asta e important…

Leul, Von Trier şi depresia

~P~ îmi spune de un articol din Evenimentul Zilei despre Lars von Trier

Depresia, spune von Trier, e mai uşor de suportat decât anxietatea. „E ca şi cum te-ar vâna un leu , iar tu te-ai decide la un moment dat să spui „Mănâncă-mă”.

Minunat spus… Merită să citiţi tot interviul aici

Mă bucur că Antichrist, atât de controversatul film al lui Lars von Trier, va fi proiectat la TIFF, o sa revin cu amanunte privind data, ora şi locul.

Life Is a Miracle

Am văzut zilele trecute Life Is a Miracle (Zivot je Cudo), filmul lui Kusturica atât de real, atât de ne-hollywood, atât de aproape de mine şi atât de balcanic în sensul bun (există aşa ceva?).

Celor cărora li se pare că viaţa nu mai înseamnă nimic le-aş recomanda filmul acesta.
